Associate Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and driven Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in handling complex commercial litigation cases, providing support to senior attorneys, and representing our clients' interests in court. This role requires a proactive approach to legal research and strategy development, as well as strong communication skills to effectively advocate for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing complex commercial litigation cases from inception through resolution.
Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide support in trial preparation.
Maintain relationships with clients, providing updates and addressing their concerns throughout the litigation process.
Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations affecting commercial litigation.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active membership in the New York Bar.
1+ years of litigation experience, preferably in complex commercial litigation.
Experience as a federal clerk or as an Assistant U.S. Attorney is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
