Position Overview
The Technical Media Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all digital media content and technical documentation within the organization. This role involves ensuring content is effectively created, maintained, and delivered across various platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement software solutions that enhance our media management processes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies for managing digital media content and technical documentation.
Oversee the content management system (CMS) to ensure efficient organization and accessibility of media assets.
Utilize XML and DITA for structured content creation and management.
Collaborate with software development teams during the implementation of new media management tools and processes.
Work with design teams to produce high-quality visual content using Adobe Suite.
Train and support staff on media management best practices and software usage.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing digital media content and technical documentation.
Strong knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) and ability to work with XML in Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA).
Experience in software implementation and project management.
Proficiency in Adobe FrameMaker & Acrobat, PTC Creo View, DITA, and PTC ArborText
