Position Summary
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Tax Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you'll work closely with clients and senior team members to prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in public accounting within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.

Responsibilities

Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
Assist with tax planning and projections for clients throughout the year
Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide recommendations
Communicate directly with clients regarding their tax matters and documentation
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
Support senior accountants during audits and tax-related engagements
Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and accounting regulations

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
CPA license or CPA candidate preferred
1-3 years of tax experience in public accounting preferred
Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., Lacerte, UltraTax) and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
