Position Overview
The FSR Engineer- Orion is responsible for the deployment, management, and optimization of complex software systems in an enterprise environment. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability, while leveraging cloud technologies and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy and manage enterprise Linux systems, specifically CentOS, in a cloud environment.
Monitor system performance and reliability using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
Integrate and maintain AWS services for optimal cloud performance.
Work with Oracle databases to ensure data integrity and availability.
Develop automation scripts using Python and Puppet to streamline system operations.
Collaborate with development teams to support Java applications in the production environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
10+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
Must have TS / SCI with Poly.
DoD 8570 IAT Level 1 Certification (Sec+, CISSP, etc.).
DoD 8570 Computing Environment Certification (Linux+, Redhat Certified System Administrator, COMPTIA Server+, etc.).
Strong knowledge of cloud services, particularly AWS.
Experience with monitoring and visualization tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
Familiarity with Oracle database management.
Proficient in Python and automation frameworks like Puppet.
Experience with Java and supporting Java-based applications.
