Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and lead heavy civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of heavy civil works, including asphalt, concrete, grading, excavation, and underground utilities. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage heavy civil construction projects from inception to completion.
Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and financial targets.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process in a timely manner.
Prepare and present project updates and reports to stakeholders and senior management.
Ensure that all project documentation is complete and accurate throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of project management experience in heavy civil construction.
Proven experience managing projects involving asphalt, concrete, grading, excavation, and underground utilities..
Familiarity with project management software and tools.
Professional Project Management certification (PMP) is preferred.
