Full-service CPA firm with over 35 years of experience serving privately held companies in various industries, is seeking a Senior Audit Manager to join their Phoenix, AZ office. This is a key leadership position with a clear path to potential partnership for a motivated and dedicated professional.
Offer:
$150,000 - $200,000/year contingent on experience

Qualifications:
CPA certification (required)
Minimum 10 years of recent audit experience in a public accounting firm
Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and SSARS
Experience conducting and overseeing Single Audits (preferred)
General knowledge of taxation
Additional experience in litigation support and business valuation (a plus)
Proven ability to articulate complex accounting and auditing issues clearly and effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Leadership skills with experience managing audit teams and fostering professional development
Responsibilities:
Conduct and oversee audits, reviews, and compilations in compliance with professional standards and firm quality controls
Supervise and mentor staff members, providing guidance to ensure high-quality audit work and technical issue resolution
Build and manage strong client relationships across various industries, delivering exceptional service
Oversee external peer reviews and internal quality control monitoring processes
Manage engagement risks and financial performance, including budgets, billings, and collections
Stay current on technical and industry standards, evaluating their impact on clients
Cross-sell firm services to clients while maintaining independence standards
Participate in business development initiatives to support firm growth
