Remote Tax Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Remote Tax Manager who will oversee our tax compliance, reporting, and planning activities. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and providing strategic tax planning advice to our clients. This position allows for flexible remote work while requiring a strong understanding of various tax structures and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee tax compliance and reporting for partnerships, S-Corps, and C-Corps.
Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
Provide expert advice on tax planning strategies to optimize clients' tax situations.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper accounting for tax purposes.
Stay current with tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for clients.
Review and analyze financial reporting to ensure alignment with tax obligations.
Assist in the development and implementation of tax policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification required.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting and compliance.
Strong knowledge of partnership, S-Corp, and C-Corp tax regulations.
Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is a plus.
Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
