The Role
We are hiring a full-time, on-site Associate Attorney to join our close-knit and high-performing legal team. This role involves working on a range of cases from divorce and custody to cutting-edge fertility law. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping clients through significant life transitions.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver sound, strategic legal advice in family, matrimonial, and fertility law matters
Draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, and settlement agreements
Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations
Conduct thorough legal research and prepare for complex litigation
Maintain clear and compassionate communication with clients
Collaborate with senior attorneys and staff to ensure superior service and results
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing exclusively in matrimonial
In-depth knowledge of New York family and matrimonial law (Connecticut bar admission is a plus)
Strong litigation, research, writing, and negotiation skills
Proven ability to manage complex files independently
Commitment to providing high-touch, white-glove client service
Self-starter with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
