Position Overview
The Engineering Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the engineering operations of a new product my client is developing. This role focuses on optimizing processes, enhancing productivity, and ensuring that engineering initiatives align with business goals. The manager will lead a team of engineers while fostering collaboration and innovation to drive successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage engineering operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement engineering processes and best practices.
Monitor project progress and performance, providing guidance and support to engineering teams as needed.
Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance operations.
Oversee resource allocation and planning to ensure optimal utilization of engineering talent and tools.
Facilitate communication between engineering teams and other departments to align project objectives with business goals.
Manage the engineering project lifecycle, from planning through execution and delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering operations or project management.
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, operations management, and process improvement methodologies.
Proficiency in SQL, BPM, Oracle, and RDBMS.
Experience with software design frameworks such as MVC and MVVM.
Familiarity with web technologies including JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, XML, HTML, and CSS.
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Proficient in using project management tools such as GIT, JIRA, and Confluence.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
