Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and talented Associate Attorney with specialization in Labor & Employment law to join our team in North Miami. This position offers the small firm autonomy in a big firm. Along with plenty of growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of employment litigation matters
Prepare for trial and court appearances
Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, negotiations and trial
Qualifications
JD & 1+ years of experience in Civil Litigation for Employment
Passed FL bar & in good standing
Proven track record of experience in Depositions, Motions
Experience interviewing witnesses
E&O and D&O experience is a plus
Nice to Have
Trial experience
Demonstrated interest in FL workers' comp defense
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
