Howdy, I'm working with a family owned civil shop in CT that will pay someone to help them make money demolishing buildings - legally and safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for demolition projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine project requirements and potential challenges.
  • Analyze project plans and blueprints to accurately estimate demolition costs.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project budgets and schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements during the estimation process.
  • Evaluate risks related to demolition projects and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for accurate pricing.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in demolition techniques and technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years civil estimating experience 
  • Demolition estimating experience (full building and interior) 

Preferred Qualifications

  • HCSS, Agtek, or similar
  • Experience with AutoCAD and blueprint reading.
  • Familiarity with utilities and sitework processes.
