Position Overview
The Corporate Controller will oversee all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and managing the financial reporting process. The ideal candidate will provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization, particularly in the construction and real estate sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the accounting department and oversee daily operations
Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Develop and implement financial controls and procedures
Coordinate the annual budget process and forecasting
Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to management
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other legal requirements
Manage relationships with external auditors and financial institutions
Monitor cash flow and financial performance of projects, especially in construction and real estate

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA certification preferred
Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
Experience in the construction or real estate industry is a plus
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and leadership abilities
