Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer with expertise in cloud technologies to join our team as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions that are scalable, secure, and efficient. This role plays a critical part in supporting our organization's cloud strategy and ensuring the successful deployment of cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using Terraform to automate provisioning and management of cloud resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices for cloud architecture and security.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud system performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Implement containerization solutions using Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and management.
  • Ensure adherence to security standards and practices, including security patching and compliance with TS/SCI requirements.
  • Support CI/CD processes using tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Confluence to streamline software delivery.
  • Participate in Agile methodologies and SCRUM ceremonies to ensure effective project management and delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on cloud technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automation tools like Puppet.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Linux systems administration and networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and best practices for cloud environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph is required.
