Job Title: Audit Senior - Non-Profit and or/ For-Profit

Salary: $90K - $110K + Full Benefits + Bonus
Requirements: CPA | 3+ Years in Public Accounting
We are a local public accounting firm that focuses on Non-Profit and Government organizations. We have about 25 employees on staff full time and we are growing. We offer audit, tax, and accounting services to multiple of the largest school districts in the St. Louis area along with other non-profits, local municipalities, and other government funded healthcare locations. We work majorly on collaboration with engagements. We have full medical, dental, vision that are 100% paid for by the employer. Along with that we have flex hours, generous PTO, and minimal busy season hours. We only have busy season hours in the spring from February 1 to April 15 where max hours are 48 hours worked on the week. We are prepared to offer a path to partner for employees that want to be future leaders of the firm.
Audit financial statements for compliance with accounting standards.
Ensure the organization follows relevant laws, regulations, and grant agreements.
Review internal controls and recommend improvements.
Audit federal fund use under the Uniform Guidance.
Verify proper use and accounting of grants and restricted funds.
Assist with preparing required filings, like IRS Form 990.
Maintain comprehensive records of audit work and findings.
Communicate audit results and recommendations to leadership.
Ensure spending aligns with organizational budgets.
